Z visas are issued to foreign nationals who come to China for employment along with his or her accompanying family members. You can apply for China work visa by submitting the application form to your nearest Embassy of China. If you are unable to come personally you may entrust this responsibility to a visa agent.

While applying for China work visa see to it that you have a valid passport. The passport should have blank visa pages and minimum 6 months of validity.
When submitting an application for Z visa, you should also give 2 passport sized photographs. You should also submit visa notification letters such as fax or telegram. You should also submit Work permit or original copy of foreign expert's license.
Z visa application form should be filled completely, clearly and faithfully. Do not fill the application form with red ink or pencil. If your Z visa application form is not filled properly, it may be rejected. Chinese government charges a nominal fee for Z visa. The application fee is about 150 US dollors.

 

Z visa is initially valid for a period of 3 months. Z visa application form is also available online. You can always download it from the Chinese Embassy website. Only Single entry Z visa is available. Z visa holders should register with local Chinese authority within thirty days of arrival. After registration your work visa status changes to residence permit that allows multiple entry and exit. C  Visas are issued to crewmembers that are a part of land transportation, navigation, and international aviation missions.

J1 visas are given to journalists of foreign nationals who are posted in China for a period of at least one year. J2 visas are issued to journalists of foreign nationals who have come to take an interview and will stay for a short period (less than one year) in China

Business visas are issued to foreign nationals who have come to China for a business visit. Business visas are called as F visas. F visas are also given to participants of a cultural exchange program. F visas are also given to people who have come for research, to attend meetings, conferences and lectures. Single entry, multiple entry visas are also available. You can also apply for multiple entry business visas that have a validity of 24 months if you satisfy their pre requisite conditions. It becomes easy to obtain China work visa if you are a skilled worker who has an excellent academic record.
