US Work Visa

The US work visa system is one of the most complex systems in the world. United States has more than 60 types of non permanent visas. You can work in United Stated if you have H1B visa other. You can get paid employment using a H1B visa.  Initially H1B visa is valid for up to 3 years and can be extended up to 6 years. Generally employment based entry is found at large in United States. Getting a US work visa is not simple
The L1 visa is another non immigrant visa which allows organizations that are operating in US as well as in countries to transfer certain employees from its overseas operations to US operations for a period of 7 years.

Organizations operating in United States can take the help of BCIS service for applying L1 visa. Initially these employees will be given L1 visa for a period of 3 years.
Business travelers who have B1 visas can enter in United States. B1 visas are also called Visitor for Business visas. B1visas are issued jointly with B2. B2 visas also called Visitor for pleasure visas. This means if a person has B2 visa then that person can plan a business trip. You cannot run a business if you don't have a working visa. Paid employment may not be given to business visitors.

 If you can obtain work authorization in United States if you are sponsored by an employer or a close family member staying in United States.

There are some pre requisite requirements that should be satisfied in order to get a H1B visa. You should have already secured a job from a US Company. You should also have the relevant University degree or equivalent of US College. If you have more than 3 years of work experience then you have more chances of obtaining H1B visa

E visas are for employees of US companies who are registered as Treaty investors or treaty traders. Treaty investors are those who have made significant investment in the US.
Generally E visas are initially valid for 2 years. After the specified period you can renew it indefinitely

United States in 2005 publicized a new US work visa for Australians only. The visa is called E3.Using this visa Australians along with their children and spouses can come to US to work .Australians who want E3 visas should already have a job offer of a US company. Once you get a job your visa will be sponsored by the company.
